This edition’s featured student is Cheryl Lyu, a May 2017 mechanical engineering graduate from the University of Dayton.
Between her experience as an intern in Career Services coordinating with students, departments and employers and her involvement with multicultural teams in engineering and student clubs, and practical experience at Cummins, Cheryl has been a model student. On top of a rigorous academic engineering program, Cheryl took on leadership roles as the President of the Chinese Students and Scholars Association and Chair positions within Phi Sigma Rho engineering sorority.
Her confidence, problem solving skills and ability to motivate others are key qualities that have contributed to her success at the university.
